SMDR icon on the UTILITIES menu of the main Call Accounting Jr. menu.

(Default directory is CAJR34)

Answer: Yes, Call Accounting Jr. does require a
dedicated PC. This means that you have to dedicate the PC to the call accounting
function and that it cannot be used for anything else besides Call Accounting. Call
Accounting PRO uses a memory buffer between the PC and the Phone System and does not
require that the PC be dedicated to the Call Accounting function.

Answer: Yes, Call Accounting Jr. has an optional
feature which allows you to interface your Call Accounting with your Hotel/Motel System.
This feature captures call records on one com port of the PC, prices and processes
the calls, and then sends them to your property management system down another port on the
same PC. This way calls are recorded in "real-time" as they are made right
to your customers portfolio on your Property Management System.

Jr. One version tracks up to 50 extensions, and the other tracks an unlimited

Answer: Yes, we do have a report file that contains no
graphical characters (large text, underlines, boxes). These reports work well with
dot matrix printers. If you wish to use these reports, you can download the non-graphical version of the Call Detail Report free from
our web site. Simply save the file to the same directory as your Call Accounting Jr.
system, and it will overwrite your graphical report with a non-graphical one.

Edit / View Raw Data:
The raw data files are stored in the \\logfiles directory under your Call Accounting
Software. The default path name is c:\ca200X
where X is the version (ex. ca2002, ca2004). These files are stored in
plain ASCII format and can be edited from any text editor. To edit them
from the Comm One Toolbox issue the following command:

Edit / View Processed Data:
Processed data is stored in the current file
PLM_CA.DBF located in the current directory. To edit this file, load the
toolbox module and type the following commands:
CLOSE DATABASES
USE PLM_CA.DBF

The file saves changes as you leave each field automatically.
